After my last song at our One Night Only show at the Apollo I leave the stage and Gen runs up to me and hugs me!
I give him a big hug back cause I’m so happy he is here for such an out-of-this-world show
And he surprises me by saying, “Mommy! Why didn’t you bring me on stage?? I’ve been waiting the whole show! “

Well, I’m shocked because if you know gen he is a shy guy (believe it or not) he would’ve been embarrassed if I called him out.
So I say, “Really Gen! You want to come out?”
“Yes!” He says with passion
“Ok, I’m going to go back out and then I’m going to call you out ok?”
“But now I feel nervous mom”
“Don’t be! They are going to love it !!”
